About The LibraryNoyes Children's Library is a place where children fall in love with books. Where families share traditions and build dreams. Where the past is present in the 1893 building, and the future soars in the planned Make MORE Noyes Renovation. Noyes is the oldest public library in the Washington, DC area, and one of only a few public libraries in the U.S. dedicated to children. |
About The Foundation
As Noyes inspires children, so has it inspired their parents and the larger community. Founded in 1991, the Foundation has raised more than $800,000 to support Noyes - at times funding a portion of its operating costs - and has successfully completed the Make MORE Noyes Renovation Campaign to make Noyes universally accessible, while expanding its usable space and its early literacy mission. |
About Our TeamThe Noyes Children's Library Foundation is led by a volunteer board that includes experts in the fields of Early Childhood Education, Public Relations, Fund-Raising, library services, and community-building. The Board operates in close partnership with Montgomery County Public Libraries and other organizations, to multiply its efforts on behalf of Noyes and early literacy. |
